An iconic granite-clad structure in the Art Deco architectural style
The ANZAC Memorial, in Sydney’s Hyde Park, recognises all Australians who served in all wars.
The Government Architect’s Office in NSW Public Works has recently completed a major capital works program that involved conservation of the building’s fabric, as well as enhancement of essential services and facilities and the refurbishment of key public spaces.
Light Culture were commissioned by Point of View (Lighting Designers) to support this upgrade by supplying the correct colour rendering LEDS within a extremely short lead time.
The collaboration between supplier, distributor, wholesaler, lighting designer and electrical contractor was seamless to achieve the result shown in the images.
This project received an award of commendation at the 2014 IES NSW annual awards.
