The design takes advantage of the site's unique setting within the harbour, with excellent views to the city skyline. A floating roof canopy, slung from an existing crane gantry, provides highly flexible column free spaces for a variety of uses.
Light Culture were engaged to provide lighting products to support the architectural design brief and worked in partnership with the electrical engineer to ensure we maintained the ANZ lighting standards.
The perforated high reflecting wave form ceiling proved to be a lighting challenging.
To work in harmony with this, Light Culture looked at a wide distribution luminaire to dampen the high reflective properties of the ceiling.
